A Torrent of Blue Hope - Weebly.com
On Insurrection
by Angie Minkin
Scarlet lies pulsate, reverberate.
Where is truth in these blood-mottled halls? No one is listening. My pickaxe, it is silver. I hone its point. Sharp to etch a line against crimson earth, scarred and cleaved. I plant seeds of wildflower bombs, leavings of a lost year, nourish truth with a mulch of facts and blessed water. May the currents of our broken streams form rivers to merge into a torrent of blue hope. |
